TILL THE END OF THE NIGHT - Silver Bear for Thea Ehre

As we all know, the best is saved for last. TILL THE END OF THE NIGHT was one of the final films to be screened in the Berlinale Competition, just one day before the big awards ceremony. When we heard the question from the festival side whether we didn't want to stay one more day, we could already hear a bear pawing. And so it came to pass. THEA EHRE was awarded with the Silver Bear for Best Acting Performance in a Supporting Role. Okay, now we can argue whether Thea's great performance is really "only" a supporting role...but bear is bear! Dear Thea, congratulations - we Heimatfilmer are so proud of you!
