LA MORT VIENDRA in competition at the Locarno Film Festival!

Finally it's official and we can share the great news, the Locarno Film Festival announced today in their Official Selection Announcement that LA MORT VIENDRA (Death Will Come) by director Christoph Hochhäusler will celebrate its world premiere in the official competition 'Concorso Internationale'.

LA MORT VIENDRA is the new film by Christoph Hochhäusler and already the sixth collaboration between the director and Bettina Brokemper and her Cologne-based Heimatfilm. The film was made as a co-production with Amour Fou Luxembourg (Bady Minck, Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu) and Tarantula Belgique (Joseph Rouschop), in co-production with BR (editor Harald Steinwender) and ARTE (editor Barbara Häbe). The film was shot last year in Brussels, Luxembourg and Cologne, among other places. The main roles are played by Sophie Verbeeck as Tez, Louis-Do de Lencquesaing as underworld godfather Charles Mahr, Marc Limpach as adversary De Boer, Hilde van Mieghem as Julie Despontes and others.
