Synopsis
The friends Betty and Martha set out on a trip to Switzerland, with a dying father in the backseat, who seems to have only one wish: assisted suicide in a swiss special institute. It's going to be one last, final ride, but nothing ends, as you had imagined, certainly not life.

With a sense of self-defense and a veracity that hurts, "Daughters" tells of women in the middle of their lives, of farewells that no one is spared of and fathers who disappear too soon. A grotesque journey into the south, through Switzerland, Italy, to Greece, deeper and deeper into the abysses of their own history. And the question is not where we come from, but: how will we find out again?
