After training as a Medienkaufmann, I left the province of Cologne for the metropolis of Ludwigsburg to study at the Film Academy there. Three years and countless Swabian Kehrwochen later, I returned to my native Cologne and worked as a freelance producer and production manager for various producers. Among them also several times for Heimatfilm. In summer 2008 I found my professional Heimat here and became line producer. Since then I've had a lot of fun with calculations, financing plans, filmfunds, audits, agents, contracts, cost reports, banks and all the great filmmakers who work for us. At carnival, however, you won't find me in the office - I'm usually out and about as a DJ Kapellmeister, delighting the crowds with finest Cologne music.
