That doesn't happen every day: When the Diagonale Graz opens its doors from 4 - 9 April, there will be a total of 7 films among this year's entries in which we at least had a hand!
5.4. 10h30 - FALSCHER BEKENNER, directed by Christoph Hochhäusler; freshly digitised and restored. The BEKENNER hasn't looked this good for a long time!
On 6 April you'll be spoilt for choice. From 17h00, 3 Heimat films in direct competition.
6.4. 17h30 - THE DEVIL’S BATH, directed by Veronika Franz & Severin Fiala; just in competition at the Berlinale, now already in Graz. Silver Bear for cinematographer Martin Gschlacht!
6.4. 17h00 - INGEBORG BACHMANN - JOURNEY INTO THE DESERT, directed by Margarethe von Trotta; also a Berlinale Competition participant from the previous year.
6.4. 17h30 - TILL THE END OF THE NIGHT, directed by Christoph Hochhäusler; Silver Bear for the wonderful Thea Ehre!
7.4. 17h30 - THE LIES OF THE VICTORS, directed by Christoph Hochhäusler; Florian David Fitz and Lilith Stangenberg!
8.4. 20h00 - THE CITY BELOW, directed by Christoph Hochhäusler; after FALSCHER BEKENNER our second production with Christoph and also the second premiere in Cannes.
9.4. 11h00 - DREILEBEN - EINE MINUTE DUNKEL, directed by Christoph Hochhäusler; awarded the Grimme Prize.
